We Need You!

Friends, I need your help with a couple of beautiful things.

#1 A team of medical volunteers is coming to South Africa to offer child wellness workshops and childbirth education in Ocean View with Havilah Collective.

One of the members is helping to pioneer a group of 40 local volunteer doulas. She will teach how to cope with pain, especially when there are no alternatives for women in labor at the local government hospital. 

When there is pain, physical or emotional, SHE is the person you want by your side, I promise you.  There is no fiercer advocate for pregnant mothers than a doula who knows pain and loss herself. It’s imperative that we get her to South Africa!

We need $800 to cover the expenses. Oh, by May 28th, did I mention that??

#2 The second need is for a digital thermometer. 90+ kids, all headed into winter, and the viruses are flying. A thermometer is a basic necessity that will help the preschool determine illness before the situation becomes dire. It has become dire in the past, and these tragedies can be prevented! Cost: $25-$30.
