Merry Stress-mas

It's that time of year again! Summer in South Africa means a hot Christmas, and a new school year begins in January!

For many parents, this season is highly stressful, as the financial burdens of a new school year are a necessity. This overwhelming requirement can be lessened through the goodness of a generous community. Last year, we were able to provide over 90 kids with school supplies and mandatory school uniforms. This keeps kids in class and off the street.

We've talked about this stressful time before and every year we have been able to help parents keep their kids in school by providing school supplies and school uniforms for the most at-risk students.

The stress of providing for Christmas AND school is already starting to weigh heavy on parents. Yet, if these kids don't have the proper school uniforms (everyone wears uniforms even public schools) then they are simply not allowed to attend school. We can ensure that these kids begin their school year in the best possible way.
