Less Pain.

If only we could guarantee a pain-free labor and delivery for birthing moms...that would be ideal. But, we do what we can, wherever we can.

Last year Dawn , a childbirth educator, visited False Bay hospital in Cape Town and saw the difference between what birthing moms were offered here versus a private hospital in the United States. She set her sights on the things that she could change.

As an experienced doula, she offered classes and tutorials on different birthing positions. She donated birthing tools. She brought a passion and love for the birthing process that inspired others.

Birth is a beautiful life process and worthy of celebration, dignty and honor. That's what Dawn brought. When she learned that there are no coping mechanisms for pain offered to moms, Dawn again found something to offer.

Dawn contacted a company in the UK who promptly donated an electrotherapy type machine to the False Bay hospital for moms to use during painful labor.

The marketing director of the company knew of Ocean View and quickly responded,

"Ocean View is such a vulnerable area and access to education and tools is vital."

The world is overshelming right now. The beauty that we bring is lighting the way forward.
