I loved seeing the stained glass mural on the civic centre with his likeness on it. He just seemed to whisper, “Forgive, forgive, forgive” as we drove into CapeTown on Nelson Mandela Blvd.

I don’t think there’s one person who can take his place and offer the world what he did, but we’ve been shown how to take our own place in this world and change what we can, where we can. What a legacy. Rest In Peace, Archbishop, freedom fighter, Nobel laureate, peacemaker.
