Musician Rita Springer posted this on social media in reference to the church needing good, mothering leaders. I'd like to take this a step further and proclaim that Mothers are the leaders we need, both inside and outside of the church walls.
Mothering is not a gendered title based on biological children. It is the act of nurturing, protecting and mentoring. Imagine a leader who mothered.
